TEAM II KKN UNDIP 2024 in Gadingan Village, Mojolaban District, Sukoharjo Regency, succeeded in the Monodisciplinary Work Program of Processing from Pandan Leaves, Orange Extract, and Lemongrass Plants to Make Dish Soap, Floor Cleaner and Anti Mosquito Spray, all of which are environmentally friendly and easily available. This work program was carried out in the Meeting Room of Jetis Hamlet, Gadingan Village, with a series of activities in the form of demonstrations or training in making Dish Soap, Floor Cleaner, and Mosquito Repellent Spray.
This activity was carried out by Virgin Cyntia Watania, a student of the Department of Chemistry Batch 2021, Faculty of Science and Mathematics.
Gadingan Village residents have the potential to utilize Pandan Leaves on the basis that most residents plant pandan leaves well and are very well maintained. In addition, from daily use for cooking, Gadingan villagers can process lime.
Each product of this Monodisciplinary Work Program has a different content. For dish soap contains texapon which functions to remove fat or dirt and has foaming properties, sodium chloride (salt) as a thickener, sodium sulfate as a form to accelerate fat removal, EDTA as a preservative, and foam booster (camperlan) as a stubborn fat lifter and foam enhancer.
