Semarang 22 December 2022-Rizky Noor Rafika, Student of the Organic Laboratory successfully modified activated carbon which was activated using papaya leaf extract as a metal adsorbent. Rizky’s work was presented during the thesis trial exam which was held on Thursday, December 22 2022. Rizky Noor himself carried out his final project under the guidance of Drs. Pratama Honest Ph.D and Dr. Suhartana, M.Sc. The modified material as activated carbon is able to adsorb three heavy metals at once namely Fe, Zn and Cd. The composition of the examiners on duty yesterday were Ngadiwiyana, S.Si, M.Si (Lecturer Examiner I and Deputy Department), Damar Nurwahyu Bima, S.Si, M.Si (Lecturer Examiner II) and Dr. Mukhammad Asy’ari, S.Si, M.Si (Examiner III).
