Natural Product Chemistry is a branch of chemistry that studies compounds derived from natural sources such as plants, animals, and microorganisms. It involves isolating, characterizing, and utilizing bioactive compounds for various applications, including pharmaceuticals, pesticides, and industrial materials.
Bioorganic Chemistry merges the principles of organic chemistry with biology to understand and manipulate biological processes at the molecular level. It emphasizes the synthesis and study of organic compounds interacting with biomolecules in biological systems.
