Semarang December 16, 2022-Putri Widiastuti, a student from the Physical Chemistry laboratory, has successfully completed her bachelor thesis defense. The research idea brought by Putri Widiastuti was also quite interesting. Under the supervision of Dr. Rahmad Nuryanto and Didik Setiyo Widodo, M.Si, Putri was able to utilize Lapindo mud waste to become a material with more use value as an adsorbent for methylene blue dye with the thesis title “SYNTHESIS OF MESOPORI SILICA ALUMINA FROM LAPINDO MUD WITH VARIATION OF CTAB TEMPLATE CONCENTRATIONS USING SOLVOTHERMAL METHODS FOR Methylene ADSORBENT BLUE”. Research with ideas like this is interesting besides being able to reduce waste caused by Lapindo mud, the material produced is also able to reduce environmental pollution produced by Methylene Blue. Putri Widiastuti was declared to have passed the trial with the composition of the examiners: Dra. Arnelli, M.S (Examining Lecturer I), Damar Nurwahyu Bima, S.Si, M.Si (Examining Lecturer II), Prof. Dr. Meiny Suzery, M.S (Examiner III and Deputy Department).
